China has launched the Chinese Reusable Experimental Spacecraft for a second time.
China has launched the Chinese Reusable Experimental Spacecraft for a second time. Featuring a similar design and use idea as the Boeing X-37 spaceplane launched by the United States.
As usual China has not released any more details about the space plane, but this is expected to have been the second flight. The first flight was in September 2022/
China officially calls the payload a reusable spacecraft that will be used for peaceful mission in space for on-orbit tech testing. The plane will land in China in the coming weeks, with Lop Nur as a expected landing site as recent satellite imagery reveals objects being prepared around the runway.
At this time, no NOTAMs are published in preparation for a return and landing.
