CACI International has announced the acquisition of a 10-year contract valued at up to $450 million and is dedicated to supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC).

The JNWC, a crucial arm of U.S. Space Command’s Combined Force Space Component Command, is the DoD’s premier center of excellence for navigation warfare.

The center's pivotal role involves ensuring positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) superiority for the DoD and its allies, underpinning the operational effectiveness of U.S. Space Command.

Under the newly secured contract, CACI will enhance the capabilities of combatant commanders to operate in environments where PNT is disrupted, denied, or degraded. This support encompasses conducting operational field assessments, developing war gaming scenarios, and modeling and simulating various threats.

“CACI’s experts understand multi-domain positioning, navigation and timing threats and advise combatant and joint force commanders on how to swiftly respond to navigational warfare threats and operational requirements,” - John Mengucci, CACI’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

Established in 2004, the JNWC provides around-the-clock operational support to warfighters, utilizing both reachback capabilities and deployable teams. These teams are equipped to offer specialized knowledge in planning and executing navigational warfare operations across a spectrum of domains, including space, electronic warfare, cyberspace, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations.

Navigational warfare, a critical component of modern military strategy, involves strategic defensive and offensive measures to maintain PNT superiority.

The JNWC's mission is to identify vulnerabilities, devise mitigation strategies, and coordinate navigation warfare efforts across the DoD, combatant commands, military services, interagency partners, and international allies.

With this contract, CACI International is set to play a crucial role in fortifying the United States' navigational warfare capabilities, ensuring that combatant commanders are well-equipped to face and overcome PNT-related challenges in various operational environments.
