Argentina is the 28th country to sign the US led Artemis Accords which outline the best practices for space exploration.
On July 27, in a ceremony held at Casa Rosada, the presidential office in Buenos Aires, Daniel Filmus, the Minister for Science, Technology, and Innovation of Argentina, officially signed the Artemis Accords. Argentine President Alberto Fernández and NASA Administrator Bill Nelson attended the signing.

Argentina is the 28th country to endorse the Artemis Accords and the fifth nation to do so within the last three months. Prior to Argentina, the Czech Republic and Spain had signed the document in May, and Ecuador and India followed suit in June.
