At 13:01 local time, SpaceX performed a 6-7 second static fire of single Raptor engine on Ship 24 for the first time after undergoing structural repairs since September.

This test was crucial to proving that the modifications SpaceX made to the Ship were suitable for flight, of which they are.

Following today's test, Starbase teams are reviewing the data gathered from sensors and cameras on the vehicle and around the launch site. If SpaceX are satisfied with the results of today's test, we can expect them to resume testing of multiple engines before moving into integrated testing with Booster 7 at the Orbital Launch Site.
