Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK), the world's largest cruise company, has made a significant leap forward in enhancing its onboard experience by announcing the completion of the installation of Starlink's high-speed, low-latency global internet connectivity across its entire global fleet.

With this latest upgrade, all 90-plus ships in Carnival Corporation's portfolio of world-class cruise brands now boast Starlink's cutting-edge technology, ensuring faster service, greater capacity, and more reliable Wi-Fi.

This accomplishment follows a series of innovations and investments by Carnival Corporation since 2019, which have quadrupled the fleetwide bandwidth, solidifying its position as an industry leader in connectivity strategies.

"Starlink has been a game-changer for the onboard connectivity experience our cruise lines deliver to their guests, and we've already seen a surge in guest satisfaction and positive feedback from the super-fast and reliable Wi-Fi service we provide onboard." - Josh Weinstein, CEO of Carnival Corporation

The upgraded connectivity experience on Carnival Corporation's ships now rivals that of on-land experiences, enabling guests and crew to stay connected anywhere in the world. This includes sharing multimedia content, browsing social media, streaming live content, and even remote work. Moreover, the increased bandwidth enhances each ship's operational and communications capabilities, facilitating continuous onboard equipment monitoring and real-time connectivity and data sharing between ship and shore teams.

The roll-out of Starlink commenced in December 2022, initially on Carnival Cruise Line and AIDA Cruises ships, before expanding to other brands such as Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, P&O Cruises (Australia), Costa Cruises, P&O Cruises (UK), and Cunard.
