SpaceX Officially Unveils Starlink In Motion

SpaceX has announced a new Flat High Performance Starlink dish to allow users to enjoy high speed, low latency internet while in-motion.

With its wide field of view and enhanced GPS capabilities, the Flat High Performance Starlink dis can connect to more satellites, allowing for consistent connectivity while users are on the go.

The new dish hardware is designed for a permanent installation on your vehicle and is resilient in harsh environments. Included with each new dish is a Wedge Mount kit to install the dish at an 8 degree angle for water run-off. The new Flat High Performance Starlink dish has improved weather resistance and 1.7x better snow melt capability.

The new Flat High Performance Starlink is currently available for order in select markets, with deliveries beginning in December 2022. The new Starlink In Motion services will set you back $2,500 USD for the hardware, more than 4x the cost of the Standard Starlink RV dish.

SpaceX has been rapidly expanding their Starlink service with introduction of Starlink TV in May, and Starlink Aviation just couple weeks ago.
