Engines

P80

The P80 used on the European Space Agency Vega rocket. IT is the largest and most powerful one piece solid-fuel rocket engine

Zefiro 23

The Zefiro is a family of solid-fuel rocket motors developed by Avio and used on European Space Agency (ESA) Vega rocket. The name Zefire derives from the acronym (ZEro First stage ROcket), conceived when this motor was intended to be used as first and second stages of San Marco program of the Italian Space Agency (ASI). After its intended use as a booster was shelved the acronym was dropped and only the reference to the Greek god of the west wind Zephyrus remained. As of April 2019 two models, Zefiro 23 and Zefiro 9A, are used with Vega and the Zefiro 40 is used for Vega-C

Zefiro 9A

The Zefiro is a family of solid-fuel rocket motors developed by Avio and used on European Space Agency (ESA) Vega rocket. The name Zefire derives from the acronym (ZEro First stage ROcket), conceived when this motor was intended to be used as first and second stages of San Marco program of the Italian Space Agency (ASI). RD-843

The RD-842 ia a single nozzle,pressure-fed UDMH and nitrogen tetroxide engine used on AVUM and Vega rockets

Mission Overviw

THEOS-2 is Thailand’s first Earth observation satellite. Built by Airbus Defense and Space and based on the Astrobus-S platform, it is designed for optical measurements with a ground resolution of approximately 1 meter. TRITON or FORMOSAT-7R is an additional satellite by NSPO added to the joint Taiwanese-US FORMOSAT 7 / COSMIC-2 constellation for collecting atmospheric data for weather prediction and for ionosphere, climate and gravity research. Its GNSS Reflectometry payload can be used to calculate the wind speed over sea surfaces. PROBA-V-CC (Project for On-Board Autonomy - Vegetation - Companion CubeSat) is a mission that will fly a scaled-down version of the vegetation-monitoring instrument aboard the Earth-observing PROBA-V to conduct combined experimental observations with its predecessor.
